With that said, it appears that Zynga is aware that the FarmVille franchise still has its fair share of fans as it recently gave audiences a glimpse of what to expect from FarmVille 3.
When is FarmVille 3 going to release?
The aptly titled FarmVille 3 sneak peek video is a 25-second preview of what the upcoming mobile game is going to look like when it is released. FarmVille was originally released on Facebook back in 2009 where it stayed until December 31, 2020. A sequel, FarmVille 2, was released in September 2012, with mobile ports released in 2014. Unlike its previous iterations, FarmVille 3 will be exclusive to iOS and Android devices. It will bring players back to their familiar past-time of raising virtual crops and tending to virtual farm animals. FarmVille 3 is also going to introduce all-new breeding mechanics. This will let players nurture baby animals from 150 different types of creatures, ranging from typical farm critters like horses and pigs to the more unusual kinds like arctic foxes. With that said, Zynga is hoping that the release of the game’s latest teaser is enough to bring fans back for FarmVille 3 when it is out. Unfortunately, Zynga has not confirmed a specific release date for FarmVille 3. Previously, it had confirmed that FarmVille 3 would release in Q3 2021 before delaying the game to Q4. This means that FarmVille 3 could release anytime between October 1 and December 31, although we’re not ruling out another delay if Zynga doesn’t announce anything by October. Whether FarmVille 3 will help Zynga bring the franchise back to relevance remains to be seen. In the meantime, FarmVille fans can keep themselves busy by playing other similar games. Several pixel-art games will run on low-power PCs that are similar to FarmVille. You can also play other simulator games that have similar mechanics to FarmVille. In addition to this, FarmVille Simulator 2022 is expected to release in Q4 2021 as well.
