Yuri Sakazaki brings her irreverent style and the Kyokugenryu Karate technique to the latest game in the KoF franchise, now with a next-generation look and fast combos with chi energy projectiles and reflectors. As with the classic mechanics, Yuri continues to parody various abilities of other characters such as Ryu’s Shin Shoryuken, Ken’s Shouryu Reppa, and Iori’s Ge Shiki, thanks to her move-copying skills that transcends games. Check out her flamboyant trailer below: So far, Shun’ei, Meitenkun, and Benimaru Nikaido (Hero Team), Chizuru Kagura, Kyo Kusanagi, and Iori Yagami (Three Sacred Treasure Team) have been confirmed. Leona Heidern, K ’ Dash, Mai Shiranui, Andy Bogard, and Joe Higashi are confirmed characters but with no team affiliation yet. Yuri Sakazaki also isn’t affiliated to any team, maybe she is waiting for King so alongside Mai they can compose the Women Fighters Team again? The King of Fighters XV is set to release in 2021, but so far no platforms have been announced yet. King of Fighters XIV was released for PS4 in 2016 and later on in 2017 for Steam.
