The Canada-born artist’s first time to contribute the official theme song of WrestleMania was in 2020 with “Blinding Lights”. The next year, the WWE brought him back and his hit song, Save Your Tears followed by “Sacrifice” just last year. It’s unclear if The Weekend will be at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on either April 1 or 2 to perform at WrestleMania 39. The road to Wrestlemania officially starts later this month at this year’s Royal Rumble. Unfortunately, the next few months will be quite turbulent for the WWE. After Vince McMahon reinstated himself on the WWE’s board, his daughter, Stephanie McMahon, stepped down, leaving Nick Khan as the sole CEO of the company. Although reports claim that Triple H is still very much in charge as the Head of Creative, there’s a growing sense of uncertainty surrounding the WWE. For what it’s worth, all signs point to Vince McMahon keeping his hands off the entertainment side of the WWE. Hopefully, Triple H can put his mark in what’s going to be his first WrestleMania as the main man. Rumor has it that the biggest WWE superstars like John Cena, The Rock, and Stone Cold, are all coming back to put on a show in April. Although these are all still unconfirmed, we can at least rest easy knowing that Cody Rhodes will be at this year’s Royal Rumble to presumably put himself in a position to challenge Roman Reigns in Los Angeles.
