The latest information comes after 343 Industries revealed the Halo Infinite release date following an earlier leak. With only a few months left to go until Halo Infinite actually drops, you can start saving up to make sure that your rig is powerful enough to play the game come December.
What kind of PC do you need to run Halo Infinite?
Minimum:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system OS: Windows 10 RS3 x64 Processor: AMD FX-8370 or Intel i5-4440 Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: AMD RX 570 or Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti DirectX: Version 12 Storage: 50 GB available space

The PC requirements for Halo Infinite come courtesy of Steam. Although no one was expecting Halo Infinite to run on a $500 gaming PC, the requirements are actually quite modest, especially in light of the ongoing graphics card shortage. It is also interesting that the recommended and minimum graphics cards line up pretty well with the overall hardware of the PS5 and Xbox Series X, and PS4 and Xbox One, respectively. Of course, a more powerful PC is always welcome in shooters. It’s a huge advantage to be able to run Halo Infinite at higher frame rates. This is especially true at launch as Halo Infinite will only have its solo campaign and free-to-play multiplayer. The other features, such as the Forge mode and co-op campaign, will be added in future updates. Also, while Halo Infinite will support cross-platform play at launch, PC gamers will enjoy exclusive settings as well. This includes support for ultrawide and super ultrawide displays. The game will also let PC gamers use triple-key binds, dynamic scaling, and variable framerates. It’s safe to say that 343 Industries isn’t joking when it described Halo Infinite as “the best Halo experience on PC to date.” With that said, if you were able to play Halo Infinite during the technical test, your PC should do more than just fine once the game launches on December 8.
