GTA Online is ringing in 2022 in style
Rockstar usually puts up GTA Online’s various in-game properties and vehicles, among others, for sale with a massive discount during the holidays. But, now and then, Rockstar doesn’t just slash prices, they decide to give stuff anyway. In this particular case, players can get themselves a firework launcher with 20 firework rockets, 25 free grenades, and sticky bombs, as well as 10 proximity mines and Molotov cocktails, just in time for 2022. But, wait, there’s more! On top of what we’ve already mentioned, Rockstar is giving players a free brown sea lion mask and a green festive tee. To claim these rewards, all players need to do is to log in and that’s it. As a bonus, logging in will get players blue glow shades with a matching party glow necklace, which should up everyone’s style game this year. Rockstar is also making special cargo warehouses and executive offices available for a 40% discount with office renovations down by 30%. Plus, there’s currently a 50% bonus on earnings that recently launched through payphone hits and security contracts. Meanwhile, players can get double the usual RP and GTA$ for selling everything from special cargo to completing VIP Work and Challenges, as well as Resurrection mode and Tiny racers. Seeing Rockstar support GTA Online feels bittersweet for fans of the mainline series. On one hand, it’s nice to see the game doing so well after a terrible launch. But, it also sucks not seeing Rockstar work on GTA VI. If GTA Online wasn’t doing so well, Rockstar might have already released news about GTA 6, if not released more single-player DLC for the game. Instead, fans will have to settle for The Contract DLC, which furthers Franklin’s story. If it’s any consolation, Rockstar appears to be preparing to release more GTA Online DLC. In other Rockstar news, it appears that the studio was working on Bully 2 back in the late 2000s. Unfortunately, the studio decided to move the game’s developers to other games. Eventually, Rockstar just shut down development on Bully 2 in 2009 and that was pretty much it.
