This one-off special episode will take audiences behind the scenes for a more intimate look at everything that went on to make Obi-Wan Kenobi happen. The best part is that A Jedi’s Return isn’t far off. According to Disney, A Jedi’s Return will premiere on Disney+ day on September 8, which is a little over two weeks away from now. In addition to Obi-Wan Kenobi footage, A Jedi’s Return will also throw in never-before-seen scenes from the prequel trilogy as well as interviews featuring the show’s cast and crew, the director, Deborah Chow, and Moses Ingram, who did a masterful job at portraying the Third Sister, Reva Sevander. If nothing else, A Jedi’s Return will serve as the definitive version of the journey of McGregor’s Obi-Wan and Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker. Disney has always been spot on when it comes to its Star Wars documentaries. Last year, we got Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian. It gave us a deeper appreciation of the lengths that the studio went through to bring Mark Hamill back as Luke Skywalker. Based on the quality of the previous Star Wars documentaries, we’re expecting great things from A Jedi’s Return. The only thing missing is for Disney to announce Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 2 at the end of the special episode. Speaking of Disney+ day, gamers finally have a good reason to look forward to the Mouse House’s annual festivities. It’s been confirmed that the Disney and Marvel Games Showcase will take place at D23 Expo on September 29. Fingers crossed, we’ll hear more about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor at the event. It’s widely speculated that Survivor will tie into the events of Obi-Wan Kenobi.
