Given that the remastered GTA trilogy’s PC requirements aren’t exactly low, most fans were worried that the game would look bad on the Nintendo Switch. Thankfully, there’s no need for concern, as the latest screencaps of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy running on the Switch will prove to you.
The GTA Trilogy looks awesome on the Nintendo Switch
The GTA Trilogy is set to release on November 11 on all its intended platforms outside of iOS and Android. A few days before then, Rockstar decided to drop new screenshots showing how the game would look like on Nintendo’s hybrid console. Although there aren’t that many screengrabs, there’s enough to give audiences a good idea of what to expect, and we’re telling you, the remastered bundle will not disappoint.
Pre-loading is now available through the Microsoft Store and Nintendo eShop. PlayStation Store pre-load begins November 6 at midnight. https://t.co/pY4IBfDjHi pic.twitter.com/MdGrLHbYb8 — Rockstar Games (@RockstarGames) November 5, 2021 As previously reported, the GTA Trilogy is going to take up far more space than the original titles. For example, GTA 3 only took up a little over 1.5GB when installed on the PS4. In comparison, the new version will consume nearly 5.3GB. Meanwhile, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas will take up 10.768GB and 22.679GB worth of space, respectively, making the GTA Trilogy quite the storage hog. Of course, it’s not like Rockstar Games just went ahead and made the file sizes of the classic games bigger. The studio put in a tremendous amount of effort to update how the older games looked. Every single title boasts better visuals and reworked characters, as well as vehicle models. The games will also support modern graphics options like improved lighting and shadows as well as higher resolutions. Having said that, most fans are probably just happy to know that they can play GTA on the go once again. All that’s missing now is for Rockstar to bring more of its games to the Nintendo Switch. While they’re at it, maybe the studio can patch in the original cheats as well.
