Rockstar might be all-in on the next Grand Theft Auto game right now, but the recent leaks suggest that the studio was actively working on Bully 2. A member of the group behind the GTA 6 leaks, Laspus$, reportedly communicated with someone on Reddit. The same user is now sharing screenshots of their conversation, wherein the hacker revealed sensitive information about the long-rumored game. The source claims to possess two PDF files filled with Bully 2 information from 2009 and 2017. According to the hacking group, Rockstar shelved the 2009 version to start working on GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. Then, in 2017, Rockstar began development on a sequel that will feature a new character and setting. This 2017 version of Bully 2 will reportedly take place across the pond in an English school, in a fictional town, where players will take control of a new protagonist. It will feature robust gameplay features where players can explore the town on a street level, sign up for part-time jobs, and even commit smaller crimes to be a nuisance. A lot of fans aren’t quite sold on the leak. Some say that it’s scripted, but then again, it does align with earlier leaks from the same hacking group. However, an insider did claim back in February that they still think that Bully 2 is in the works, so take this as you will.
Speaking of the GTA 6 leaks, the FBI already has the suspect in custody. The individual and the hacking group are believed to be behind several recent security breaches at companies like Uber, Samsung, and Microsoft.
