As per a State of Play showcase earlier this year, Sony confirmed that Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection was coming to the PlayStation 5 and PC. This would mark the first time that an Uncharted game would make its way to a non-PlayStation platform and is part of Sony’s commitment to making more of its exclusives available for the PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Unfortunately, Sony did not give Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection a proper release date outside of an early 2022 release window. Because of this, fans have been wondering when Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will arrive, especially with God of War also headed to the PC right around the same time.
When is the Legacy of Thieves Collection release date?
When a game gets rated by a ratings board, it’s usually a sign that it’s going to release in a few months, with a release date announcement imminent. So far, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection has been rated thrice. It was first rated by the Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC) in Korea last November 4. Then, the bundle, which contains remastered versions of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: A Lost Legacy, popped up on the Australian Classification Board. Finally, the ESRB has rated the collection as well, suggesting that a release date announcement is just right around the corner. All things considered, it makes sense for Sony to announce the release date for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection around this time. The Game Awards 2021 is coming soon, which is the perfect platform to make an announcement. Not to mention, the infamous Nvidia GeForce Now leak lists Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection with a February 7, 2022, launch date. At this point, all fans can do is wait. But, we’re betting on our The Game Awards guess. Sony has a reason to celebrate with two PlayStation exclusives up for the GOTY award.
