If the recent rumors are to be believed, Craig Fairbrass is going to come back to voice Ghost.
Is Craig Fairbrass coming back to voice Ghost?
In an earlier article, we discussed the possibility of next year’s Call of Duty from Infinity Ward being a sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare reboot. Sometime later, we came across information about potential characters that would return in the said sequel. Now, the same leaker behind the latter leak just revealed that Craig Fairbrass will reprise his role as Ghost in 2022’s Call of Duty. Of course, the game remains unannounced at the moment. Because of this, there’s no way to verify if anything that @RalphsValve has said is true.
— Ralph (@RalphsValve) December 15, 2021 If Infinity Ward is indeed going to work on a follow-up to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot next, it would make sense to bring back someone familiar to voice Ghost. The British special forces operator is a fan favorite and played a huge role in Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty games. Who better to voice Ghost than the same person, Fairbress, that brought him to video game life, in the first place? Just keep in mind that this is all just a rumor. Even if Ralph has quite the track record when it comes to leaks, he’s still not Activision nor Infinity Ward. Until either one of them makes a statement, it’s best to take what Ralph said with a grain of salt. Besides, we still don’t know if we’re going to get a new Call of Duty game next year yet. Despite Call of Duty: Vanguard’s sales, there’s too much talk around Activision-Blizzard making changes to its usual release cycle for nothing to happen.
